DESCRIPTION: Here it is! The Halloween Tree, a 1993 feature-length animated televised movie on Ray Bradbury's 1972 fantasy novel of the same name. It tells the story of a group of trick-or-treating children who learn about the origins and influences of Halloween when one of their friends is spirited away by mysterious forces. Fantasically received by critics this film has been a staple for many during the spooky season. It was often featured on TV during the Halloween season. It features the voice of Leonard Nimoy as the children's guide, Mr. Moundshroud. Ray Bradbury himself provides the voice of the Narrator, and won an Emmy Award for writing the special's screenplay.
NOTES: This film is an Import from overseas but it will play in all players around the world including the US! It is in English entirely and this is the "Special Collector's Edition" which features the following. A full length cut of the original aired TV broadcast, several Halloween trailers of other scary films, DVD menus and a bonus menu selection as well featuring trivia about Halloween. Case is very nice as is the artwork.
